Mattel first introduced the Dreamhouse in 1962. In 2024, we gave it Wi-Fi. Introducing, the Barbie StreamHouse powered by Verizon!
With Internet powering every room of her StreamHouse, Barbie can now stream, game, watch movies, and is able to finally Google why her fingers are stuck together.
This exciting partnership is brought to life across numerous channels, such as TV, social, digital and even a real life StreamHouse in the heart of NYC.

PROBLEM
VERIZON IS THE #1 LEADER IN MOBILE IN AMERICA, BUT NOT THE LEADER IN HOME INTERNET. SO HOW DO WE GET THE REST?
SOLUTION
WE LOOKED TO WHERE THE MOST HOMES WERE SELLING, ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT AMERICA'S BEST SELLING HOME IS A TOY. SO, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITS 62-YEAR HISTORY, WE GAVE BARBIE THE INTERNET AND TRANSFORMED THE ICONIC DREAMHOUSE INTO THE STREAMHOUSE.

This iconic partnership called for an iconic look and feel. It needed to be fun, cute, internet-y and seamlessly merge Verizon and Barbie — two wildly opposite brands.
Our answer: stickers.
We packed the campaign with internet-themed stickers to match the film’s playful tone, which are not only cute but also helped integrate the Verizon font without losing its identity, as we placed copy inside them and paired them with sparkles.
Color was also extremely important, so we refined both brands’ color palettes into a bespoke selection, ensuring both brands shined through.

Color

The overall layout should be a mix of both brands but should read more Verizon, so Vibrant Red should be used

When using pink, Endless Possibilities and Forever Pink should be heroed. Power Pink should be used as secondary

Though secondary, Power Pink should be incorporated where possible as its Barbie's main color

Avoid using black as it overpowers the playful, Barbie-inspired quality of the color palette.

Sticker colors can be changed and paired with sparkles

Though stickers are meant to be placed over colored backgrounds so they pop, if a white background is necessary, a thin stroke in #D1D3D4 should be added for visibility

Maintain size consistency: stickers with copy should be bigger than those without for visibility

Bigger stickers should have a bit more detail, and smaller ones should be simpler and flatter
Dont's

Don’t have different outer stroke sizes, make sure its consistent especially when resizing

Don’t use the Barbie logo in another color other than Power Pink or white on Power Pink

Dont overcrowd a composition, make sure there is always a focal point

Don’t remove the white outline
